Identity

This section holds the three foundational identity documents produced through the BioHub Identity Template.

  • Identity Statement — Who the BioHub is: name, founding cohort, anchor location, purpose, position within the field, intellectual lineage, entity form, and forward relationship to the BioRegion.
  • Field and Lineage Positioning — Comprehensive reference compiling global field mapping, cited intellectual lineage, research base, cohort publications, and specific field contribution.
  • Founding Compact — Governance document co-signed by the founding cohort, establishing legitimacy, mutual commitments, entity form, patronage architecture, and protocols for expansion, revision, dissent, and dissolution.

Status: Draft, pending formal three-prompt template run with the founding cohort. Current content drawn from the Overberg BioHub Founding Brief v0.3 (August 2026).
