Soil carbon accumulation through fynbos and renosterveld restoration, riparian corridor repair, and the Soil Carbon Sponge mechanism (Jehne). A co-benefit of the water yield service rather than a standalone tender.
Status: Speculative. The water-yield service is the primary tender; carbon sequestration runs as a co-benefit within the same restoration programme.
