Guardians of Earth (GoE)
Biodiversity and stewardship platform on which BioHubs, protected-area managers, schools, and community groups host geofenced Nature Realms associated with real-world places. Each Realm carries a BioScore composite index built from five sub-scores (species diversity, monitoring quantity, data quality, community engagement, and restoration evidence). Realms compete in biannual BioQuest competitions each April and October. Platform documentation: docs.guardiansofearth.io/goe.
For the Valley of Grace BioHub, Guardians of Earth is the platform partner supplying the digital infrastructure of the Nature Realm activated in July 2026, and it is the specific candidate ecological legibility signal named in Promises to the Valley of Grace and in the wider BioConomy corpus.
Domicile and scope
Guardians of Earth is a platform organization, not domiciled in the BioRegion the Valley of Grace BioHub anchors. Its engagement with the valley runs through the Nature Realm registration, the BioScore data feed, and participation in the biannual BioQuest cycle.
Role in the valley
The following summary draws on the Significant Dates timeline. Every event carries the IC (Independently Corroborated) marker at source.
Realm activation (July 2026). The Valley of Grace Nature Realm was activated on the Guardians of Earth platform in July 2026. It covers approximately 10,000 hectares, with a live and growing BioScore. The Realm is described in the timeline as “the digital infrastructure for the proposed transformative tourism strategy.”
October 2026 BioQuest (target). The BioQuest competition scheduled for October 2026 is named in the timeline as “the first public milestone for the Valley of Grace Realm before approaching corporates at scale.”
Position in the BioConomy corpus
Guardians of Earth is one of the reference initiatives named in the Evolution of Coordination Nodes framework as candidates for the E-form’s ecological legibility signal, the +E equivalent of the Dow’s role in the +M form. The BioScore composite index compresses ecological and social health of a defined place into a single trackable number, and it is a candidate for the ecological legibility signal the +E substrate needs at scale (an open question flagged in Promises to the Valley of Grace and in the wider corpus).
Whether the platform’s technical, governance, and financial architecture can hold at the scale of thousands of Realms without capture by market logic is one of the three open questions on the +E form’s scalability that the corpus treats as Speculative Projection. The Valley of Grace Realm is one live test.
